  • Hello everyone, from Miami Beach! I am an entrepreneur in the online marketing space. Affiliate marketing to be exact. My game is traffic (attention direction and sales). I have an interesting story and a way of putting things together. One of my major strengths is connecting dots in areas or ways most don't see or think possible. I also have a ton of experience in managing big teams and making sure everyone stays on target and is playing on their strengths. For my affiliate business alone, I have a team of over 30 VAs, across 3 different continents and timezones, and have been able to scale our from 0 to over $2MM in sales in 24 months. Today, we spend anywhere from 10-20k/day on Facebook and will be scaling that to over 100k/day in the next 45-60 days. My team and I have been able to do this by creating better systems, optimizing our time and resources, strategic planning, and heavy cashflow management. One of the keys to my success has been dot connecting as I mentioned before. Connecting the right people and resources, and finding interesting new solutions by getting everyones input and perspectives.
  • Having been born on the Caribbean island of Dominican Republic and growing on the beaches of sunny Miami. I have a strong, deep rooted connection for the ocean and the water. From diving, fishing, and spending the day out jetskiing or on the boat the ocean is a place I always feel at home. Nothing pains me more when Im out on the water than when I see all kinds of trash and plastic in the water. Not just in the water but in our streets as well, and its not a just a problem that is afflicting us here in the states, but globally. Being able to even play a small part in making a dent in an issue that causes so much pain and damage to something I love so much, would be a blessing. I am ready to take immediate massive action to get with all of you, start masterminding and start making things happen. I have zero doubt that between my personal network and resources, the team members who will be involved and all the Mavericks and everyone else who will provide aid, we can and will make a serious impact on this problem. I already have so many ideas and things we can start implementing and start building long game. I am ready to rock and make a difference. I hope all my fellow team leaders and members are as eager and ready to take massive action as i am.
  • Feel free to message me via email (above) or skype (johnmventura) and lets start connecting and going over ideas, so come onboarding time we already have somethings we can start taking action on. Cheers!

  • Hi everyone! I’m Anthony Bui-Tran and I’m an entrepreneur who started a consumer products business selling primary through the Amazon sales channel. Along the way, I have made amazing connections with my team over in China. With my team in China, we started my 2nd business where we help other entrepreneurs source their desired materials such as eco-friendly packaging and help with steps A-Z to make their product visions come to life. My 3rd business, Seller Tradecraft is an educational Facebook and Youtube community I created to help other entrepreneurs scale their Amazon sales channel. When I heard about this opportunity it reignited my affinity with the ocean and the feeling to be apart of something bigger than myself once again. I look forward to utilizing my knowledge in product development and experience in remote project management to make our vision come to life. Feel free to reach out to me via email at anthonybuitran@gmail.com!

  • Hi everyone! My name is Molly and I'm a student, researcher, and entrepreneur at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I founded a turtle rehoming organization at 7 and spent middle and high school growing it to include a bath and body line as well as a STEM leadership camp. Now that I'm in college, I've focused more on my research. I started working in a chemistry lab creating a nanoparticle dengue vaccine and now I work in a biology lab studying the role of septins in embryonic cytokinesis. I've always been passionate about our oceans and have worked closely with the Jane Goodall Institute, NC Museum of Natural Sciences, and United Nations to implement youth-led environmental initiatives. I'm excited about this project and look forward to connecting with all of you!

  • The urgency to create sustainable businesses that focus on battling environmental and socioeconomic issues is at utmost priority right now. I have a sense of responsibility towards the environment as I, along with millions of global citizens that inhabit it and exploit the resources. A business model designed to encompass the elimination of toxic waste entering the oceans is not enough and merely temporary. If I am given an opportunity to work with fellow visionaries to eradicate this issue, I would address the root cause of this issue to design long lasting solutions. Being formally trained in finding solutions to complex biomedical issues as a research scientist, I am driven to change the circumstances that oceans are currently facing through research and education, not just convincing industries to reduce their plastic pollution. My philosophy is remediate the current system that involves disposal of approximately 12.7 million tons of plastic in the oceans by replacing it with innovative solutions that would serve as an alternative for corporations. We also ought to tackle the current ocean pollution by collaborating with organizations such as Greenpeace that are already working towards ocean clean up.
  • I believe my participation in this project would enable me to use my relevant broad set of skills such as analyzing data, interpreting it and producing a research publications which have taught me to navigate through time-sensitive projects and thus, I am intrinsically motivated to drive projects to completion. Recently I worked in a neural-cardiovascular hypertension lab to develop a novel drug for resistant hypertension, it became a natural passion of mine to incorporate and innovate novel solutions for existing issues. However, after taking business management classes and networking with industry professionals, I realized I am better suited for work that requires application of the scientific knowledge towards commercializing the research/ products, bringing it in the market so that people can actually benefit from it; invoking an entrepreneurial side in me that I didn’t know existed. Equally important to my research experience, I have learned crucial professional and people skills from working as an Academics Specialist for the intercollegiate athletes and a graduate Teaching Assistant, where I was responsible for interacting with students in order to provide personalized assistance to each student in regards to their academic career.
  • Equifinality is one of the most critical aspects of starting a new project. There is always more than one ways to organize and bring the visions to life. My ideal team would be open-minded people who are not hesitant to adapt new ways of operating this startup that involves interdependence and exchange of ideas from people of different backgrounds in terms of education, culture, thought process, managing, etc. If we can manage to foster a work environment that is ideal for us, it would become much easier to work in harmony to create a brand/company that would uphold our #1 mission- to stop oceans from being polluted! To me being committed to a cause is the first step, and if I am given a chance to work on this, I would not stop working towards this cause until its implementation is ensured and we have yielded our desired outcomes- healthy net profit, corporations on board to replace their toxic waste disposal with eco-friendly alternatives, educating the masses about the risk and consequences of ocean pollution, and finally a sustainable long term solution for prevention and removal of ocean waste.

  • Hello, I am a 2017 University of Notre Dame graduate with a dual-degree in engineering and an MBA concentrated in marketing. I am currently living in Chicago, IL as a consultant and seeking to be a part of a new venture that is agile, driven, and empowered by purpose. The combination of my two degrees has demonstrated to me the power that humankind has to design systems that either add to, or detract from our planet's natural resources. I seek to apply critical engineering thinking in a business context to optimize systems and create efficiencies in the Triple Bottom Line. With passions in both improvisational comedy and video production, I believe in creating the strongest story that connects with audiences spanning a plethora of backgrounds. Only through critical thinking, interpersonal client skills, and a story that resonates, will #Blue be able to succeed in creating a world free of plastic waste. I hope to contribute to this team and to move towards that waste-free world. As a certified scuba diver and a resident of Tampa Bay, Florida, the beaches and the waters of this earth are my home. I hope to keep them clean so that our generation and generations to come can enjoy and experience their natural wonder.
